Timeless Teachings in a Changing World

 

Our educational programs are individually planned and monitored to access the unique learning styles of each student.  Each child learns differently, and at a different pace, therefore students are taught individually to enhance their learning potential. We implement a unique arrangement of teaching procedures, by utilizing adaptive equipment and material as well as technology such as; smart boards, IPad’s and computers to help our students achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency and increase self-esteem. 

Our program utilizes a multi-sensory approach to maximize the student’s potential. This may include; singing, modeling, gesturing, repetition, drawing, videos, manipulatives, etc.

 

Curriculum

 

Our program is based on an individualized curriculum designed specifically for each student. Teachers work individually with students, providing more intensive and individualized instruction. Teachers choose appropriate individualized material based on the student’s strengths, interests, needs and the developmental area needing support. This is done by: 

 

1. Adapting materials and environment

2. Change or modify the planned activities

3. Used helping strategies to provide support 

4. Plan individualized support strategies

 

Our curriculum for core classes (reading, math, science, and social studies) have been adopted to suit a variety of individual needs and learning styles. 

 

Teachers

 

Our teachers have at least five years teaching experience and/or a Bachelor/Master's in Education. They are fully supported by teacher assistants. Children are taught in varies settings such: whole class, small groups, and/or when needed, individually.

 

Class Description

 

Kindergarten through 12th grade:
 

★    Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (M-Th) and 8:30 a.m. –                 2:00 p.m. (Fr)

★    Individualized curriculum based on student’s needs

★    4 : 1 student to staff ratio​

★    Highly qualified certified teachers

★    Specially trained staff

★    Spacious classrooms with integrated technology            

        throughout

★    Interactive Smart Board Technology

★    On-site speech and language and          

        occupational therapists

★    Art, ceramics, physical education, theater, coding, social         pragmatics and keyboarding classes.
